Job Description

 

The Batteries Product Manager will lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle of products designed for customers. In this role, he will work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, customer success, and leadership to deliver solutions that solve real customer problems and drive business growth.

He/she will be responsible for translating customer needs and business goals into clear product requirements, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring successful product launches and adoption.

The Batteries Product Manager will focus also on the Battery Manufacturers and OEM market analysis, to understand:

 

  • Dimensions and Trends in different geographies
  • Technology level
  • Competition
  • Customer Mapping and Targeting
  • Key Buying Factors

 

From the Market analysis, he/she will support the validation of the Business Plan Assumption, will be in charge of reviewing it and modify basing on the natural market evolution.

 

The Product Manager, working in synergy with his/her Responsible, will then take care of the definition of the GO TO MARKET strategy (Pricing strategy, Channels, Target Customers) to facilitate the promotion of the project and the final selling to the Customers.

 

Main Activities

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Batteries products
    Conduct customer research (interviews, feedback, usage data) to deeply understand customer needs, workflows, and pain points
  • Understanding the Key buying factors of the target Customers, to build the selling proposition, both in terms of technical scope that in terms of content to be used as selling material
  • Translate business and customer requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver features on time
  • Defining, together with his/her Responsible, the GO to Market Strategy, including pricing strategy and target Customers/geographies.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry best practices
  • Define the technology level of the market, study and reporting about the competition and identifying potential Customers;
  • Creating and maintaining the Project Business Plan, continuously validating the assumptions;
  • Managing and updating all the stakeholders interested into the project financials with dedicated reporting.

 

Primary Skills And Qualifications

  • Education Level: University Degree in Engineering;
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in Batteries Companies;
  • Analytical and drafting skills to produce structured market analysis, business plans and reports;
  • VOC campaigns;
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams & sense of initiative;
  • Ability to define and prioritize product requirements based on data and business impact
  • Ability to establish strong links and communicate effectively with external clients, stakeholders and partners;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 level).
  • Proficiency in the Office package, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, CRM e and capacity planning;
  • Familiarity with major KPIs (OI, GM, Sales Conversion, NPI
